Matt is currently at Mountview rehearsing an In House Musical Project with the Postgraduate Musical Theatre students.

He has just completed a sold out, critically acclaimed run of In Clay at Signature Theatre (VA, USA).
In Clay (Jack Miles and Rebecca Simmonds) has Music Supervision, Additional Music, Arrangements, and Orchestrations by Matt and was presented as part of the NAMT festival in New York in October 2024.

In Clay received 14 x 5* reviews and 7 x Offie Award Nominations including Musical Direction and Best New Musical and won for Creation (Jack Miles and Rebecca Simmons) and Performance (Rosalind Ford).

Matt has been an Associate Conductor and has covered Keyboard for West End and Touring productions.
He recently installed CREATE! for Royal Caribbean's Star of the Seas as Music Director/Additional Orchestrations/Music Preparation.

Matt is a Offie-Nominated British/American musician, a graduate of the University of Nottingham and Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, a multi-instrumentalist, and a passionate maker of music.
​
He is primarily a pianist, conductor and arranger/orchestrator. He has worked in London's West End and Off-West End and is an in-demand coach, having worked at ArtsEd full time as well as freelancing in other top drama schools around the country. He is a regular MD and Orchestrator/Arranger for Jack Miles (In Clay, St Anne Comes Home, Adeline, The Problem with Fletcher Mott) and an Orchestrator the London Musical Theatre Orchestra. Matt also has extensive experience in creating click tracks and in music production.
