Matt recently installed Create! for Royal Caribbean Entertainment on Star of the Seas as Associate Music Director, Vocal Coach, Additional Orchestrations, and Music Preparation.
He is currently Music Supervisor & Music Director for In Clay at Signature Theatre from 13th November - 1st February 2026.

Matt is the Music Supervisor, Arranger, Orchestrator, and Additional Music Composer of In Clay (by Jack Miles and Rebecca Simmonds) which was presented as part of the NAMT festival in New York in October 2024.
​
In Clay has received 14 x 5* reviews and 7 x Offie Award Nomination including Musical Direction and Best New Musical. In Clay won for Creation (Jack Miles and Rebecca Simmons) and Performance (Rosalind Ford).

Matt has been an Associate Conductor for Only Fools and Horses The Musical (West End, UK Tour), We Will Rock You (20th Anniversary UK Tour), and The Lightning Thief (West End), as well as covered keyboards on West End and Touring productions.

Matt is a Offie-Nominated British/American musician, a graduate of the University of Nottingham and Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, a multi-instrumentalist, and a passionate maker of music.
​
He is primarily a pianist, conductor and arranger/orchestrator. He has worked in London's West End and Off-West End and is an in-demand coach, having worked at ArtsEd full time as well as freelancing in other top drama schools around the country. He is a regular MD and Orchestrator/Arranger for Jack Miles (In Clay, St Anne Comes Home, Adeline, The Problem with Fletcher Mott) and an Orchestrator the London Musical Theatre Orchestra. Matt also has extensive experience in creating click tracks and in music production.
